Which canoe route to choose in Ardèche?
The choice of your route depends on your level, the time available and what you want to see. Here are our recommendations based on your profile.
Family or beginner
Start with the Mini Trip 6 km or the 12 km route for a half-day with a pass under the Pont d'Arc. Accessible from age 7, no experience required.
A full day in the Gorges
From 24 to 36 km, explore the Réserve Naturelle des Gorges over a full day: towering cliffs, the Cathédrale view and up to 12 rapids depending on the route.
Bivouac under the stars
Our 2-day bivouacs combine the descent with a night in the wild on the Gaud or Gournier bivouac areas. The most immersive way to experience the Gorges de l'Ardèche.

1 Which route for a first canoe trip?
The 6 km Mini Trip is ideal for beginners: short (1h30), calm, and you pass under the Pont d'Arc. Accessible from age 7 with no experience required.
2 Which route to see the Gorges de l'Ardèche?
The 24 km descent The Reserve takes you to the heart of the Gorges: Cathédrale, rapids, wild beaches. To see it all (canoe slides + the Pont d'Arc + Gorges), choose The Full Run 36 km.
3 Can we do two routes in the same day?
Yes, you can combine a half-day in the morning and another route in the afternoon. Contact us to organise your day.
