Full 36km descent through the Gorges with bivouac
Two days of adventure in its entirety
The 36km Bivouac Descent is the longest and most comprehensive version of the bivouac trip in the Ardèche Gorges! Reserved for motivated paddlers, this 2-day experience combines physical exertion, thrills, and total immersion in the Ardèche countryside. Starting from the top of the gorges, you’ll paddle 36km through dynamic rapids and natural slides (weirs), with the goal of camping under the stars.
Estimated duration: 2 days. Level: Sporty, ideal for adventurers already comfortable with canoeing and kayaking. The route offers unique views of limestone cliffs, secluded beaches, and rich biodiversity in the heart of the gorges, for a more intense and complete experience than the classic 30km descent.
The bivouac site entrance fee is not included.
